50 an hour Critter Squad Wildlife Defenders, a wildlife, nature and science educational outreach program, is looking for enthusiastic and passionate team members interested in building community relationships and providing exciting and enriching wildlife and science presentations and classes for children.
Available positions are as follow:
Critter Squad Educational Specialist- Provide fun, enriching and entertaining wildlife presentations and classes to day-school and after-school programs.
Tasks include managing a weekly calendar, learning material to be taught in class prior to classes starting, managing classrooms of children ages 4-10, maintaining positive student, parent and administrative relationships, working with Critter Squad Wildlife Defender's amazing educational ambassadors and team to teach the public about animals.
New hires will rapidly gain valuable experience teaching children and working with live, safe animals, along with learning endless facts about nature and wildlife to share with the world.
Prior experience not necessary.
Must be over 18 Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
WORKING VEHICLE REQUIRED! Must have valid CA driver's license and good driving record.
Must be comfortable with small animals.
Hours vary.
Typically 1:
30pm-5:
30pm Monday -- Friday Starting rate with no experience is $16.
50 /hour.
Rates go up with animal, wildlife or biology based degrees.
Travel reimbursements are included.
